Video featuring a demonstration of the Interactive visualization of the Maeve Installation at the Venice Biennal.
Maeve is a project made possible by the collaboration of MACE Project and Everyville 2008, and provides visual and tangible access to the social and intellectual networks behind architectural projects.
At the Biennale, mæve connects the entries of the Everyville student competition and puts them into the larger context of MACE content and metadata. By placing physical project cards on an interactive surface, users can explore the presented projects, embedded in an organic network of associated projects, people and media. The project is designed and developed by the Interface Design team of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam.
MACE is co-funded by the European Commission, eContentplus Program [a 4-year program with a budget of € 149 million to tackle organisational barriers and promote take up of leading-edge technical solutions to improve accessibility and usability of digital material in a multilingual environment].
2008, Venice, Italy.
