Why Chile?

Because geographically it is what we have on our hands, and approachable from different points of view, that seem interesting.

Why the last ten years?

On the other, because we believe that the period selected shows the state of the Architecture in relation to the situation of the country. These works should comprehend a period that has to do with the consolidation of democracy

Why Public Works?

Public works in all its different levels [and with all that the definition resists]:

Adequate projects for the average of the shilenos, the materialization of public initiatives and buildings that, even though they are private, we believe they have a vocation according to the spirit of the samples we present. We wish to make them notorious and clear. We are interested in the work and in the same way, the context [geographical, social, economical and cultural] in which they are inserted. Some works are transformed in a pretext for the presentation of a landscape and vice-versa.

Public space, social housing, government buildings, a school and two houses. Iquique, Santiago and Concepción. Six initiatives that are materialized in different typologies and latitudes in the scenario in question.
